What is the Visa Bulletin?
The U.S. Department of State publishes the Visa Bulletin monthly. It lists the cut-off (“Final Action”) dates that determine when green card applicants can move forward, by category and country of chargeability.
What does “current” mean?
When your priority date is on or before the Final Action Date for your category and country, you are current and may file for adjustment of status or complete consular processing.
